A manuall / compos'd by the philosopher Epictetus. [ca. 1736]

Manuscript copy, dating from approximately the 1730s, of William Bond's 1734 edition of The manual of Epicetus. Written in a neat hand throughout, the volume contains the entirety of Bond's translation of the Manual. It is possible that the volume was copied, or at least owned, by members of the Seymour-Conway family, as asserted in a pencil note by a modern bookseller.

[144] p., bound ; 18 cm.
